On occasion I have built short single function NLMs when it has not been possible to load NETBASIC on a server, and had often thought that when I had a spare moment, I must put these into a single NLM. Well here it is. Contents: NWDOS.TXT - This file NWDOS.NLM - The NWDOS utility Uses: NWDOS is a bunch of command line tools that are ordinarily associated with workstation operating systems. NWDOS makes your life easier when the need arises to manage files at the server console. NWDOS does not rely on any support libraries so can be loaded and used as is, even without a fully installed server. Installation: Copy NWDOS.NLM to the NetWare server SYS:\SYSTEM directory. How to load: To load NWDOS, type the following at the console prompt. 'LOAD NWDOS' How to use: After loading, the NWDOS commands become available at the server console. Type NWDOS /COMMANDS for a full command summary. Unloading NWDOS: You can unload NWDOS with the UNLOAD console command or by typing 'NWDOS /QUIT' Expanded functionality: NWDOS will be an ongoing project as the need arises for more DOS style commands, and extended functionality within the existing commands.
